I called a local AC company to fix my non-functioning heatstrip. They quoted $1,162 for the replacement. Ridiculous.
I googled the part, WTG0962 and BudgetHeating was at the top. The website had all the Trane model numbers cross-referenced and was GREAT to help me confirm the exact part. I'm not an HVAC guy and called just to make sure. I spoke with VIC who confirmed everything and took the order. The part arrived a week later and I replaced it myself in 30 minutes for a savings of $926.
